Doug's birthday was on Tuesday, July 29th. Dale and Sherri P. prepared a wonderful steak dinner and birthday cake for him on Sunday.
On Monday, we took a road trip to Big Lake, which is close to the New Mexico border, but still in Arizona and went camping. Naomi handled the trip really well for the most part, as long as she stayed entertained - we went to great lengths to keep her entertained!
As you can see, we still had issues part of the time, no matter what we did!
She sure was happy to get there, and get down and play. She is really into unloading everything now!
We took a sunset stroll down to the lake after we set up the camp, and grilled hamburgers for supper.
On Tuesday, we rented a boat and went fishing. However, the fish just weren't biting!
We came back home on Wednesday, taking the "scenic route". It took us about 1 1/2 hours extra, but we did see some beautiful scenery along the way!
